Description

Expert IT architect/Stockholm, Sweden/ASAP/+5 months

We are looking for a Expert IT Architect for one of our customers in Stockholm, Sweden for a 5 months assignment.

Do you have the skills needed and when will you be available, if yes when can we speak and can you forward your latest CV in Word format?

Fundamental changes in the domain of the bank's data warehouse and the service provisioning related to that require new technology to integrate with systems across domains within the bank. In a short period of two months, the expert architect performs the requirements gathering and analysis, assesses to what extent the integration technology that is already available within the bank fulfils the requirements, identifies how this should be applied and what additional or alternative technology is needed to fulfil the requirements.

The architect works on behalf of the domain Group Functions (GF) and will have to interact with stakeholders within that domain, with stakeholders in other domains that supply and/or consume information from Group Functions and with Group IT.

The architect delivers an architecture vision. It must be concrete enough to start an RFP, if needed, and contain the following points:

  • The requirements for Integration Technology for GF in relation to its information consumers and suppliers
  • A target vision proposing the technology components and the way they will be used and governed
  • An aligned road map for implementation
  • An estimate of the effort and costs

The candidate should be a seasoned IT expert in this area and deliver evidence of the following:

  • Expert knowledge of and experience with system integration technology
  • Expert knowledge of and experience with different integration patterns and mechanisms for systems integration and connectivity
  • Good understanding of data sourcing and provisioning related to data warehouses, operational data stores and Hadoop
  • Good understanding of banking and the major products, processes and information flows
  • The ability to drive solution alternatives to anchored conclusions and decisions
  • Being independent of specific technology providers
  • Disposing of a lot of drive and good verbal and written English.
