Communications Manager for the Electricity Balancing System

Experience Required

Proven experience of planning, managing and delivering communications plans, including internal programme bulletins, company - wide communications, and industry newsletters& industry forum updates/responses.

This experience and technical skill needs to have excellent verbal and written communications skills.

The successful candidate must be able to demonstrate the following:-
Be articulate and communicate effectively across the project team, end-users and with the management as required
Display good negotiation skills and the ability to influence stakeholders and customers to secure mutually beneficial outcomes
Develop good working relationships with project team members and suppliers to enable effective progress of work required.
Must be a good team player with strong communication skills as identified above.
Must also have good organisation skills and experience in co-ordinating in a user acceptance test phase or equivalent.

Key Tasks
Full development, management & execution of the Communications Plan, including user engagement surveys, commissioning of Communications materials, delivery and events, inc actions and progress, including management of issues, risks, dependencies and constraints
Engaging with the PMO team to review and maintain the project plan and financial models for the Readinessworkstream
