Description

An opportunity has become available with a top banking organisation based in London for a Compliance Advisory Partner to join a major business change programme within their Commercial Banking division, initially for 12 months.

Purpose of role

  • To provide advisory compliance support to individual workstreams under the Global Transaction Banking Transformation programme - These workstreams cover cash management & payments, online channel provision, liquidity management, client money, trade finance and lending and billing, so candidates will need to have a good understanding of financial services regulation across the range.
  • To act as one of the Compliance Advisory Partners to the Global Transaction Banking Transformation Programme in Commercial Banking - The role requires individuals to have an understanding of the regulatory impact on the relevant business activities and planned developments, high quality relationship management skills and the ability to drive compliance and conduct culture within the business.

The candidate will need to demonstrate knowledge of relevant regulation - specifically FCA's rulebook and Payment Services Regulations and experience of providing focused, relevant advice in a commercially aware manner.
The ability to communicate at all levels and be comfortable dealing with senior business representatives is also required.

Key skills/experience:-

  • Extensive compliance advisory experience in banking at Programme/divisional level
  • Solid knowledge and experience around FCA's rulebook and Payment Services Regulations
  • The ability to communicate at all levels and be comfortable dealing with senior business representatives is also required.
  • Experience of providing compliance support to major projects/programmes
