Financial Administrator

This is a great opportunity for a candidate to join an IT department for a major retail client as a Financial Administrator in project support capacity.

The purpose of this Financial Administrator is to support the IT Deployment Team and IT Deployment Manager, with all things financial within the department.

The main responsibilities of the Financial Administrator will be:

  • Budgetary control of the temporary fixed assets expenditure, including project expenditure/Preparation of recharges

Other responsibilities include weekly reporting of project/programme activity, working effectively and closely with colleagues and external partners and the co-ordination of projects tasks.

We are looking for someone with the following:

  • Experience of working in a Project Support Co-ordinator position, with a financial understanding or background.

  • Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills

  • Excellent ability to form strong and effective relationships

  • Team player with the ability to self start work

This position would suit someone with the ambition to succeed, the personality to work well with colleagues and the positive approach to support the IT Deployment team.

Ideally, the Financial Administrator will be able to understand basic Accountancy and finance terminology such as profit and loss, accounts payable, credit control, etc. as there is a Financial Officer element to the role.
