My client are currently recruiting an IT Analyst (Asset Management) for an initial 4 month contract based in Birmingham.The role of the IT Analyst is to oversee the daily and long term strategic management of software and hardware within the company.
Responsibilities will include:
Purchasing & Deployment of kit
Management of assets
Purchasing of software licences
Software Maintenance
Technical support of VPN, RSA server, Blackberries & BES server
Technical control of assets in active directory
Support on development of the IT budget
Control of stock levels
Running risk reviews
Management of invoices
Tagging of kit
Management of IT tickets
Skills/Experience:
Solid working knowledge of software licensing agreements with Microsoft
Good technical experience with asset management software and inventory tracking systems.
Strong interpersonal & communication skills
Adept at conducting research into product and service related issues
