An opportunity to work for an established engineering company in Coventry. Manufacturing processes are manual and would suit hands on Manufacturing Engineers to join the assembly process with the ability to solve problems and deliver solutions.
Experience within a Takt time environment is a must - One of the initial tasks will be capturing time and motion studies - creating man assignments for the entire line, and associated line balancing.
In terms of background the preference really is automotive, however the key point is someone with previous experience within an assembly 'takt' environment. I require a highly motivated individual that can think outside of the box - someone with hands on experience that can work to a brief and deliver solutions fairly autonomously and does not need to be guided/coached through each task.
Key Requirements
*Creation of man assignments (Work standards), line balancing, yamazumi
*Development of new processes/techniques
*Maintenance & improvement of existing manufacturing techniques
*Designing jigs/fixtures
*Proven capabilities in lean tools/techniques
