Reporting/Audit Accountant
We are currently looking to hire a reporting/Audit accountant in order to assist in the testing of financial controls around IFRS and Solvency II. We are not looking for a solvency II expert however some insurance/Regulatory experience would be beneficial.
Reporting/Audit accountant
- Plan and undertake operational effectiveness testing on behalf of the IFC IFRS/SII test team of various controls in accordance with Group methodology.
- Ensure that testing fieldwork and evidence are documented in a suitable format and timely manner.
- Provide Quality Assurance over Operational Effectiveness Testing completed by peers, in accordance with Group Methodology.
- Identify, build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders (external auditors, IFC Team Managers, Business contacts etc) and interact with other team members to facilitate the sharing of knowledge and issues.
Skills/Experience for Reporting/Audit accountant
- Part-Qualified/qualified accountant
- Good analytical skills and problem solving ability
- Good understanding of finance and operational systems and processes
- Good IT skills
- Good understanding of audit methodologies
- Good understanding of the insurance industry
