*Rate to be confirmed* Senior IT Project Manager6 Month Contract Healthcare organisation East of England
The Senior Project Manager will be responsible for a number of complex initiatives on behalf of the Trust and clients, delivering to demanding timescales and budgets.
Responsible for benefits identification and realisation and for the successful handover of any project to Business As Usual and ensuring documentation is published for each.
Responsible for working closely with other project managers to identify and manage the dependencies, interfaces and potential problems of other projects within the ICT department that will have an impact on delivery.
To matrix manage the staff required to deliver the projects.
This role will need to work closely with programme managers and other project managers on agreed initiatives.
- Considerable experience in coordinating team members, developing timetables and setting deadlines in order to achieve client objectives
Experience:
- Experience of troubleshooting technical and performance problems
- Data flow redesign and implementation.
- Proven experience of resolving urgent, complex technical problems in live systems in a
- structured and consistent manner
- Experience of presenting to clients at a senior management level and in a way that
- minimises risk to systems, patients and staff.
KNOWLEDGE
- Project management software, such as Microsoft Project.
- Competent and proficient knowledge and understanding of platforms, such as Windows desktop and server; Citrix; and virtualisation environments.
