Description
Harvey Nash's public sector client urgently requires a procurement specialist to join their team on an initial 6 month contract. The role will be within the ICT Networks team and you will be responsible for managing a number of frameworks available to the organisation.
You will be responsible for developing procurement strategies and providing advice and encouraging the use of the frameworks. You will also be involved in benefits tracking, quarterly reviews, dealing with complaints and benchmarking, among other relevant duties.
You must have:
* Experience of the end-to-end procurement process
* Procurement strategy development experience
* Stakeholder management skills
* Strong negotiation and contract management skills
In addition to the above skills/experience, it would also be highly advantageous if you have experience in ICT procurement and/or working within the public sector.
