CSI Engineer

Location: Eindhoven Area
Scope of the role
* Is responsible for structural, cross-sector problem solving
* Focusses on lessons learned is almost natural behavior
* Takes ownership on workstream-level; to be defended to projectlead- and projectsponsor-level (in 1:1 meetings)
* Supports projectlead in driving the workstreams
* Has cross-sector influence: is considered an equal sparring partner for other operational sectors on tactical/managerial level
Team structure
* Reports to: Projectlead
* Works in medium size teams. No direct reports.
Key interfaces
* Internal:
- within project team and contacts on same tactical/managerial level in other sectors
- is able to influence stakeholders on tactical/managerial level
* External:
- interfaces with suppliers and co-designers/co-developers on same tactical/managerial level
Specific requirements
* Minimum level Bachelors degree, preferably a technical background with >10 years of experience within multiple sectors.
* Proven experience in leading a group of people to apply problem solving methods such as Lean Six Sigma and 8D
* Proven experience in statistical analysis; capable of teaching/coaching others in applying statistical tools
Functional competencies and skills
* Takes ownership on workstream level; leads more than 1 workstream
* Influences decision making on projectlead and project-sponsor level
* Plans & prioritizes on tasks for one or more workstreams
* Creates "buy-in" on operational level for concrete improvementplans (both corrective and preventive)
* Implements changes in cross-sector processes
* Entrepeneur: initiates/leads new actions at the boundaries of the project on tactical/managerial level
* Is able to replace the projectlead on workstream-level; prepares any presentation on workstream-level and is capable of presenting on project-level
