Role Summary:

A Server and Storage Technical Administrator provides general and routine technical support to a broad range of installation, patching, configuration, and updates on Windows Server infrastructure and Storage. He is responsible for daily operations, daily checks, several change requests tasks and incident management.
He relies on established procedures, criteria and rules, to plan and accomplish tasks.

Key Responsibilities / Deliverables:

Installation, configuration and upgrading of servers, storage and related hardware and
Software in an international environment.
Installation, configuration and upgrading of virtualization and Business continuity plan.
Backup management.
Working in validated environment which implies following of technical documentation and procedures, and comply with controlled change management process.
Referring non-routine questions and problems to Server and Storage Systems Engineers.
Applying basic skills while developing some specialized skills in procedures, operations, techniques, tools, materials, and/or equipment appropriate to area of specialization.

Knowledge, Skills and Experience:

• Medior level
• Good knowledge of Windows Server Products and Applications 2008 or higher
• Good knowledge of HP Hardware Blade and DL servers
• Good knowledge of Storage and SAN Systems: HP, IBM or Brocade
• Good knowledge of VMWare 5 or higher
• Good knowledge of Network
• Basic knowledge of Citrix 6.5 or higher
• Basis Knowledge of VB Script and PowerShell
• Knowledge of IBM TSM is a plus
• On Duty: The candidate will accept to be on call about once every 10 weeks
• Excellent spoken and written skills in French and English
• Autonomous
• Can work independently as well as team player
• Strong analytical skills
• Service Minded - Familiar with the fundamentals of IT Service Management and SLA's
• Coping With Stress in Crisis Situations

Education, Qualifications:

• Bachelor Degree in Computer Sciences or similar experience
• Minimum 2 years in a similar experience
• Certifications Windows Server 2008 or higher is a plus
• ITIL v3 Foundations certified is a plus
• Strong affinity with IT evolutions
