DESCRIPTION:

- Work as an Infrastructure Analyst leading the overall end-to-end planning, design and transition of business applications and infrastructure services.

- Liase with internal/external stakeholders and governance committees to ensure project deliverables and dependencies are successfully managed and delivered.

- Execute projects from design and development to production while adhering to established project/testing methodologies and methods.

- Manage IT project scope, deliverables, goals and milestones including reviewing and signing off on all IT documentation.

- Prepare weekly project status reports and keeping management and other stakeholders informed of project status and other related issues on a regular and timely basis.

- Lead the development and implementation of project performance measures, indicators, benchmarks and guidelines to ensure project resources are used appropriately and the achievement of quality assurance standards.

- Act as a corporate liaison and presenting to the executive team, holding and facilitating regular status meetings with project teams.

- Work on deployment schedules and managing IT related equipment -notebooks, desktops, Servers, printers, Blackberries

- Liaise with staff in development of test strategy, test cases and test scripts for system, performance, usability and acceptance. Testing of system solutions and TIVOLI updates.

- Purchasing equipment and approving hardware repairs

- Prepare training material and documentation.

- Collaborate with onshore and offshore service providers, staff on Go/No Go cut-over decisions.

- Deskside end-user support as required.

- On call availability during evenings and weekends

REQUIREMENTS:

- 5+ years of IT Infrastructure desktop experience

- 2+ years level 3 infrastructure help desk analyst or deskside support

- Experience supporting Windows Server environment, IIS, SQL Server

- Xerox print Servers

- VMWare Servers ESXi 5.5, VSphere

- VMware backup and restore

- Citrix, Xenapp

- SCCM patch management and software deployment

- Evault, Backup Exec for backups and restores

- UPS

- Computer Science Degree, Engineering, Mathematics, IT College Diploma or equivalent

- Microsoft certifications such as MCITP, MCSE

- ITIL V3 - an asset

- Knowledge of MS Exchange 2010, Outlook, BES (5, 10)

- EMC SAN Storage System, NS40, NS480, VNX 33150 X2, EMC Fibre Switches DS-300

- Ability to implement and manage Active Directory, group policies, DNS, DHCP, TCP/IP

- Experience with MS Windows 7

- Experience troubleshooting and configuring Blackberry and Smart Phones

- MobileIron (IOS & android)
- Experience supporting Cisco Switches, Routers, Firewalls

- Cisco Unified Communications Manager, Call Manager, UCCX

- Video conferencing equipment Tanberg and Cisco MXP and SP

- Ability to work in a fast paced environment and work under pressure
- Positive attitude and ability to work as a team player
- Exceptional communication, problem solving, project execution and time management
- Admin and configure network equipment
- Strong knowledge of desktops, Servers, printers and MS Office
- Strong Excel, PowerPoint

- Excellent verbal, written and presentations skills

- Ability to write documentation and train users on new functionality being deployed

- Ability to travel across Canada (on occasion) for project related activities

- Infrastructure Project Management experience - an asset

- Must have a valid driver's license

- Must have a CLEAR credit and criminal record

- After hours on-call support is required

- Shift work Monday to Friday 10:00AM to 6:00PM
