SENIOR CORPORATE GOVERNANCE & COMPLIANCE ANALYST

Contract: 9-month contract (W2)

Location: Honolulu, HI 96813 (must be on-site) (local candidates only)

Client: One of the country's largest health care and health plan providers

Department: Finance

Travel: Possible driving to other company facilities

Team Size:

  • Will be sole person undertaking these initiatives, but will be partnering with various individuals to obtain information.

Purpose of Position:

  • Lead the effort of putting into place new initiatives specifically within the Asset Management area (physical inventory process).
  • This will require an analysis of problem areas in the process, identifying solutions, partnering with various stakeholders to create a successful process, and implementation.

Job Description:

  • Conducts regulatory examinations and internal audits across the organization.
  • Conducts periodic compliance reviews of departments, ensuring that procedures and guidelines are met.
  • Prepares documentation of internal procedures utilizing state and federal rules, regulations, statutes and other third-party compliance resources.
  • Prepares compliance manuals and programs.
  • Develops compliance training modules and training of compliance team members.
  • Performs due diligence visits and risk assessments.
  • Usually deals with non-routine tasks and confidential information. Interacts with all levels of management to support on-going organizational compliance.

Required Education, Experience, and Skills:

  • BA or BS degree
  • 6+ years' direct relevant experience, to include Project management experience, the ability to interpret policies and procedures, good documentation and presentation skills, and the ability to address all levels of management
  • Able to work independently with minimum guidance
  • Has sufficient experience around physical inventory objectives and process
  • Able to work independently with minimum guidance
  • Has sufficient expertise to put new processes/procedures in place
  • Good documentation and presentation skills

Desired Experience:

  • Minimum 3-4 years' audit experience

Interviews will be in-person panel interviews.

Non-medical-facility health screen required as part of the on-boarding process
