Contract Project Manager - Infrastructure - Cloud - Leeds - 3 months
An Infrastructure Project Manager is required to work on large scale infrastructure projects. You will preferably be Prince 2 qualified and have strong infrastructure project management experience, gained within a large ITIL enterprise environment. You will be responsible for delivering multiple projects and have a strong understanding of Windows Server, VMware and Wintel technologies
The Project Manager role will involve managing a large infrastructure projects through the full life cycle, liaising with the stakeholders, 3rd parties and technical teams. As an Infrastructure Project Manager you will be able to liaise effectively with technical infrastructure teams and deliver multiple concurrent projects.
As an infrastructure project manager you will have the following:
Key Skills Required:
- Define processes to work with cloud environments - ideally Microsoft Azure

Set up and provision cloud for consumer applications

Manage and migrate two key products from current datacentre to the cloud

Risk identifier and manager

Excellent documentation skills

PRINCE2 qualification or similar

ITiL experience

Extensive project management experience, within the relevant IS discipline

Demonstrable experience of managing financial information and controlling costs

Infrastructure knowledge (Wintel, Unix, SAN, Network and Comms)

Prince2 or other recognition Project Management Qualification
Preferred:
Experience in Agile methodology
