Real Staffing are working on behalf of a Clinical Commissioning Group in the South which requires a Senior Finance Manager to support the organisation through the authorisation process.
The successful candidate will be required to provide extensive support to the Head of Finance who will be operating at the CCG on a part-time basis. It is therefore essential that candidates have a proven ability to work under minimal supervision and with a hands-on approach to management accounting.
The substantive position has been graded at a band 8b level however given the demanding nature of the role they are encouraging candidates with band 8c experience to apply. The daily rate will be negotiable and reflected by the quality and experience of the successful applicant.
In order to be considered for this position, candidates must demonstrate all of the following essential criteria:
> 18 months plus CCG management accounting experience within the last 3 years, including in the following areas
> Preparing summary and detailed monthly management accounting financial reports, including draft Board reports and cost centre reports for budget managers
> Preparing budgets with managers for a wide range of the CCG's activities, not just provider services or corporate costs
> Working with non financial managers costing projects which may include business cases, cost improvement programmes or QIPP
