Our client, a small/medium sized institutional investment manager in London/City, is looking for a Fund Accounting Oversight Analyst. This is to support the launch of a new range of Fixed Income/Derivatives funds, with the fund accounting provided by an off-shore fund accounting supplier.
In addition to the obvious experience of fund accounting (NAV production or financial reporting) and of oversight, some knowledge of Fixed Income and/or of OTC Derivatives is highly desirable.
The ideal candidate is likely to have hands-on experience of fund accounting within an investor services/asset servicing firm, and then moved into an oversight role with a fund manager. Oversight of off-shored operations within an investor services firm would also be very relevant.
An accounting qualification, or studying for one, is required, with most likely 5 - 10 years total commercial experience.
