Operational Team Leader - Networks and Unified Communications. IT Managed Services.
6 month Maternity cover contract. £45,000 per annum pro-rata. Immediate starters required. Anticipated end date 31st March 2016.
Datacom recruitment are looking for an experienced Ops Team Lead with good knowledge of Cisco IP Telephony solutions to cover a 6 month maternity contract at a global leader within Networking and Unified Communications and managed services. This role can be based either in Oswestry or Barlborough and you can work from home when not based in the office. We are looking for immediate starters whith proven experience as an Operations Team Leader within Networks/Unified Comms or Cisco IP telephony who will be able manage a team of network support analysts and able to start this maternity cover contract straight away, hit the ground running and are able to commit to the entire duration of the six month contract.
Key Purpose of the role:
- Responsible for managing and creating a high performing team in liaison with the other team Manager's for Networks & Unified Communications portfolio. Supporting the Managed Services Directorate operationally and with development activities aligned to the business strategy.
- You will be responsible for managing a high performing team in liaison with the Head of Networking in line with business policies and frameworks and supporting initiatives. Helping drive constant improvement and development ensuring that performance is managed effectively and within guidelines.
- To ensure that reactive and proactive incidents and service requests assigned to the team are responded to in line with the contracted Service Level Agreements and escalation parameters.
- Maintain a professional and profitable level of understanding of support services for products and services identified as being supported by IT Services
- Ensure appropriate levels of technical assistance are available to internal and external customers for contracted hours of support by close management of Team Rotas and Holidays
- Support introduction of new processes, ensuring up-to-date process documentation, and complying with all ISO quality standards to ensure the retention or gaining of any quality standards
- Communicate in all instances in an effective, clear, concise and professional manner with Customer service being paramount
- Disseminate technical and new business updates to other members of the Networks & Unified Communications Support team.
- Provide MIS/reports as necessary.
- Ensure that all requests and work undertaken is logged and maintained effectively
