Description
A new contract opportunity (with the possibility of a permanent role to those interested) has arisen within my client's Risk Data Management team. This function is responsible for the ongoing development, implementation and oversight of an effective framework to enhance the quality, timeliness and flexibility in aggregation/reporting of risk information. This information underpins effective decision making and compliance with regulatory requirements.
We are looking for an experienced individual with previous experience of delivering regulatory change in a Risk environment to join the team and to take ownership of the communications between a wide range of stakeholders across the Risk function in order to;
Support and manage delivery and maintenance of compliance with Group Risk Data Aggregation & Reporting Policy in line with regulatory requirements from the Basel Committee on Banking Supervisions Principles for Effective Risk Data Aggregation and Risk Reporting (BCBS239).
Deliver, maintain and oversee an effective operating model incorporating: data governance, data management, data quality and the embedding of standardised business data definitions
Key accountabilities:
Support and manage delivery and maintenance of compliance with Basel Committee on Banking Supervisions Principles for Effective Risk Data Aggregation and Risk Reporting, in line with agreed timelines.
Develop and maintain the Group Risk Data Aggregation and Risk Reporting Policy, associated guidance materials and operating model.
Oversee the adoption of standards and processes for risk data governance, data management and data quality.
Drive the use of data tools to ensure maximum benefits are gained from implementation and usage.
