Description
My retail banking client based in Edinburgh is currently looking for a Senior Manager to work within the Risk Data Management team. The role is to oversee and develop the aggregation and reporting of risk information.
Day to day the role will involve:
- Support and manage delivery and maintenance of compliance with Basel Committee on Banking Supervision's Principles for Effective Risk Data Aggregation and Risk Reporting, in line with agreed timelines
- Develop and maintain the Group Risk Data Aggregation and Risk Reporting Policy, associated guidance materials and operating model
- Oversee the adoption of standards and processes for risk data governance, data management and data quality
- Drive the use of data tools to ensure maximum benefits are gained from implementation and usage
Required Knowledge
- Data governance, data management and data quality practices
- Change management and the project life cycle
- Regulatory data requirements (preferable)
- Advanced stakeholder management skills with proven ability in engaging and positively influencing senior stakeholders
- Strong communication skills with the ability to convey ideas, proposals, risks, issues and implications to a wide range of business stakeholders in a clear and concise manner
- Proven ability to generate innovative solutions; providing clear rationale for recommendations
