Description

My client, an NHS organisation is recruiting for an interim Infection Prevention and Control specialist for a period of 3 months.

To be considered for this role you will ideally come from a clinical background and have thorough experience working in governance and patient safety roles within the NHS.

Key elements of the role include;
  • Ensuring risks of infection are identified throughout the organisation
  • Ensuring local infection control policies reflect corporate policies
  • Ensuring all staff have completed mandatory infection prevention and control training
  • Root Cause Analysis (RCA) in cases of infection to identify risks
  • Able to apply specialist knowledge to risk assessment and support appropriate controls
  • Ability to provide leadership and development of all disciplines of staff
