Description
An exciting opportunity for experienced NHS Safeguarding Adults specialist to work within a small team to help with the new care act. This post will be for an initial 6 month period based in the South West of England, the daily rate that can be expected is anything from £350 - £450 per day.The post will support the Trust and the Local Authority in relation to the protection of adults at risk.
The role will contribute to delivery of strategic priorities including prevention and early and accurate identification and management of safeguarding concerns by health care professionals.
Key skills and experience:
- Registered nurse or social worker
- Working knowledge of Adult safeguarding and experience of relevant legalisation
- Clinically hands on
- Working knowledge and experience of learning disability care
