Data Compliance Officer - Support - Data Protection Law - Personal Data - Stakeholder Management - Privacy - Data Compliance - Website Compliance
Key Responsiblities
- Support communications and marketing to define the privacy proposition for the marketing team programme in readiness for launch for their new service
- Lead on stakeholder engagement with privacy advocacy groups, consulting with them on approach to privacy
- Work with colleagues on an the production of a 'Privacy Hub' as part of the companies commitment to educate audiences about privacy and data protection
- Prepare papers for a personal data governance group as required
- Support delivery of an independent Privacy Impact Assessment (PIA) to assess the data risks of the personalisation prior to launch, including working with relevant internal stakeholders
Essential Skills
- Proven experience in privacy or data compliance related role
- Bachelor's degree from an accredited university with an awareness of personal data compliance, and an understanding of its importance
- Excellent communication skills, oral and written
- Experience of working collaboratively across a diverse set of stakeholders
- Solid support experience with outstanding organisational skills, including timely delivery of projects to tight deadlines
- Experience in broadcasting or related media role, including website compliance
