Job Profile: (Network Specialist CISCO)
As a Network and Security Specialist you will maintain secure data center network connectivity.
The role maintains and manages all network solutions such as Routers, Switches, Firewalls, security and intrusion detection appliances and related software.
The role requires relevant certifications from Cisco and Juniper, experience in network management and monitoring, ability to work independently and excellent communication skills in English and Dutch.
Your experience and skills:
* Experience in configuring and managing Cisco Switches and Routers o Juniper security solutions o F5 load balancers Bluecoat Proxy Servers
* Possesses knowledge of network security
* In-depth knowledge and experience with load balancing, intrusion detection, routing and switching and virtualization techniques
* CCNP certified
* Juniper Networks Certified Internet Specialist (JNCIS-FWV). BIG-IP Local Traffic Manager (LTM) - Advanced topics training
* In depth knowledge of:
o Routing (OSPF, BGP, Redistribution)
o Switching (VLAN's, Etherchannels, Spanning-tree)
o VRF
o VRRP/HSRP
o DNS/DHCP
o Virtualization (VSS, virtual Firewalls)
o Load balancing techniques
o Multicast
o MPLS
o Intrusion detection
o Security (CoPP, port security, TACACS, VPN, Encryption)
o Proxy Servers
o Network management tools such as SolarWinds, Cisco Works, Cisco ACS, Juniper Network Security Manager
* Experience with Global WAN vendors (Verizon, KPN, Colt etc.)
* ITIL certification/knowledge
