Enterprise Architect - Stores - US/UK
The Stores Architect will need to be able to travel to the US.
The project is a ground up development of an Enterprise Architecture for a brand new 500 store telco retail concept in the US. It will involve evaluating potential third party vendors against business requirements, developing the full enterprise architecture for the retail concept across front of house and Back Office and advising on the optimal efficiency and cost of ownership model. There will be some integration required into the carrier which is one of the largest in the US and potentially into the parent company's systems in the UK (although this is likely to be limited).
Skills required:
7-10 years experience
Experience of Retail stores enterprise architecture development for front of house and Back Office
A certification like TOGAF would be desirable
Knowledge of the US retail IT market
Experience in liaising with multiple IT vendors and contracting
Experience of the telco sector would be desirable
Industry background: Telecoms, Retail IT. Experience of working for a Big 4 Consulting firm.
Deliverables and key activities:
Enterprise Architecture covering hardware, applications, security, networks, data flows and storage
Enterprise Architecture - stores and support centre
SLAs with vendors on IT components during contracting process
Management of multiple vendors and validation of interfacing of multiple systems
Analysis and validation of architecture against business requirements
Set up and run an architecture governance process
