We are looking for an Industrial Engineer for our client in Printing Technologies

Introduction
The project is today in a Lead Customer Program-phase in which we assemble the first products for the customers in an early industrialization phase (build-to-order concept). A lot of non-optimal processes still exists, support from indirects (engineers, R&D) is still needed on a daily basis. The size of the product in number of parts and labour hours is beyond normal size, 1000+ assembly hours, 10.000+ parts per engine. In this context we have the need for an industrial engineer with LEAN expertise, who helps implementing the company standards for LEAN manufacturing in the project.
Position's main tasks
-Pro actively search for process improvement opportunities by a.o. Creating Value Stream Maps of the (assembly) process.
-Initiate and lead various (Kaizen) process improvement projects regarding reduction of lead time, assembly time and M2.
-Participate in Niagara line set-up (a.o. introducing pull concept) and administer the line lay out
Required area of education
Technical background with LEAN training/assembly experience, Industrial engineering, technical business administration
Professional skills
Practical experience in Value Stream Mapping and initiating and leading(Kaizen) improvement projects, Experience in manufacturing/assembly of complex system
Behavioural skills
-Hands-on, can-do attitude
-Flexible/Creative thinking: how to achieve the results, instead of only acting according to the procedures
-Analytical skills
-To be able to set the right priorities
-People management: To be able to communicate and cooperate with different levels (operators to R&D specialists) and cultures.
