Supply Chain Coordinator - Loughborough - Contract until Jan 2017 - £10.61
Our client, a Global company is seeking a Supply Chain Coordinator to be based in Loughborough on an initial contract until Jan 2017.
The jobholder will be responsible for:-
- Creating and maintaining customer order books.
- Provide input to the monthly sales and operations planning (S&OP) process on customer orders, demand, value and ensure issues and conflicts are elevated for resolution.
- Work with planning to ensure they are aware of changing demand.
- Work with packaging engineers to ensure packaging artwork changes and new packs are introduced effectively.
- Maintain the IT customer order system and parameters.
- Responsibility to monitor and report OTIF performance.
- Entering and maintaining customer order and forecasts.
- Allocating passed stock to customer order and releasing to DC for shipment.
- Liaise on daily basis with DC, to ensure orders are shipped on time.
- Communicating with customers via email and telephone.
- Attend and chair monthly customer meetings.
- Be pro-active in communicating with all Departments.
- Participate in process improvement projects as required.
Other responsibilities may include;
- Input of dimensions and weights data for new and existing finished packs and packaging components into database.
- Archiving of records.
- Support team with implementation of projects.
- Creating component specifications and artwork briefs.
- Technical checking of artwork.
- Maintaining and approving BOMs.
- Using database to translate text for products manufactured in Loughborough.
Some of the key capabilities of this job will include being competent in Microsoft Word and Excel, being customer focused, working with detail, excellent verbal and written communication skills at all levels inside and outside the organisation, good at problem solving, and being a good team player across the value streams. Previous Supply Chain experience required.
