I'm looking for a Senior SAP testing manager, for an ASAP project based in Oslo, Norway. The duration of the role is 3 months + possible extension.The job description is below:

The consultant will be part of the PMO Department and will reports to IT Supply Chain Project Manager.
Job description:
The consultant will be primary responsible for:
- During the Blueprinting phase, finalizing the testing strategy & approach in coordination with the SAP Program and the Organizational Change management & training initiatives. Additionally support the selection of relevant Automated Testing related tools and techniques.
- In subsequent Build & Test phases (Realization), support, track, and manage development & execution of Test plans (using SAP Solution Manager), templates, tools, and related materials

Experience:
- Operational Test Management Experience within large scale SAP projects ideally in the Chemical/Industrial areas
- Experience through full SAP life cycle experience (System testing, Integration testing, Regression Testing, Co-existence testing, User Acceptance Testing)
- Experience with the Coordination and Organization of large international groups of International Testers for User Acceptance tests
- Experience in International SAP Projects
- Good experience of SAP modules, more focus on Supply Chain related0 (SD,MM, PM, SCM, TM, APO, etc- bit also including FICO integration).
- Good experience with SOLMAN, STWB SOLAR_EVAL and test reporting tools
Profile:
- Strong communication skills since much interaction with senior management/project teams/stakeholders
- Proactive and able to deal with intense testing periods and able to keep a cool head when things start going wrong
- A strong Leader/Manager profile who can organize large international teams and lead large groups of people for UAT
- Able to Manage and Coordinate large international groups of Super Users for User Acceptance tests
- Fluent in English (Spoken & Written)
- Experience working together with System integrators
- Can follow and implement methods, procedures and directives provided by SAP Program Office
- Willing for travel - if required
- Meets deadlines, doing whatever it takes
Tasks for the Test Manager:
- Support SAP Program Test Architect with definition, implementation and configuration of test strategy and tools
- Managing the testing of business requirements in various phases of testing in the SAP SUPPLY CHAIN project
- Planning and overseeing testing, review of test conditions, test scripts and test scenarios for the various business requirements.
- Interacting with functional team and technical team to understand schedule dependencies, resolve cross-team issues, and ensure testing milestones are met.
- Interacting with business and external contacts (eg Legacy application users and leads) to identify/understand external activities and support required during the interface testing.
- Together with Tech. Arch team - making sure that complete test environment is built before testing starts. Finalizing the instance/client in different Servers for every test phase.
- Identifying the test phase requirement for the standard and custom object developments.
- Managing resources in the Test virtual organization and planning the capacity
- Ensuring sign-off on all test plan deliverables and test closure memos
- Providing status to Project Manager
- Creation of test plans and test packages
- Coordination of test document (test scripts)
- Coordination of test execution
- Responsible for reporting daily Management Progress Test and Defect Reporting
- Follow-up Defect Escalation with support organization
- Daily following up and tracking of test progress with Testers within the organization
- The Pan-European Test Manager will work with the designated System Integrator (SI) and have primary focus on these test types
- Regression, Co-Existence Testing, Retrofit, Performance, & User Acceptance Testing
- Test Tool Configurations (Solution Manager/Test Workbench)
- While the SI will have primary responsibility for these test types, it will be a highly coordinated and interrelated activity:
- Unit Testing
- Functional
- Interface Testing
- Roles and Authorizations
- Integration/System testing
Tools Experience:
- SOLMAN experience and SAP Test Workbench and creation of test plans, defect tracking and packages reporting tools
- Experience with an Automated test tools (eg eCATT, HPQC/HP ALM, Worksoft Certify )
- SharePoint 2013
- Good experience with MS Office, especially Excel/PowerPoint for creation of test daily status reports

Language requirements
English: - Fluent
English is the project language. However, training content in some areas will be needed to be developed/delivered by local teams in local language (including, for example Spanish, French, German, Italian, Portuguese, Norwegian, Swedish, Finnish, etc.). Training content will leverage the Testing preparations. Some of our testers (Super Users) may not be 100% English proficient, so any knowledge of additional European languages could prove useful in working with local User acceptance testing.

Education &/or equivalent practical experience with SAP related, cross-regional, deployment, regression, Template, and User acceptance testing. SAP Solution Manager Test workbench, as well as Automated Testing tools.
