Project Manager - Aerial Delivery - Prince 2

Main Duties and Responsibilities:
This post reports to the Programme Manager and Project Portfolio Lead for Aerial Delivery Projects. The post holder will operate as a full member of the team; supporting the Programme Manager and other team members as directed, across all facets of Project Management and Project Controls within the Assessment Phase of CADMID. The post holder will be responsible for delivery of specific work packages to cost, quality, safety and schedule parameters.
The work will include:
Development and upkeep of project plans to ensure all necessary activities and dependencies are included and progress monitored and reported.
Effective Risk Management by interfacing with Project Control function in identification, categorisation and mitigation of risks, including ownership and delivery of Risk Mitigation Plans
Managing Technical evaluation including Ground & Flight Trials supported by Subject Matter Experts
Development and production of Project Documentation including Business Cases, Briefs, Through Life Management Plan, Stakeholder Engagement Plan etc.
Develop and maintain project level financial forecasting, modelling and controls.
Development of stakeholder relationship including potential suppliers,
Assure safety via compliance with MAA regulations and ensure adequate Safety Assessment is conducted in conjunction with Air Platform PT Represent the PT at working groups and other senior meetings as directed by the Prog Manager or Portfolio Lead.
Skills required:
Experience in the delivery of projects; with particular emphasis on the management of suppliers and stakeholders
Experience of governance and risk control frameworks
Good planning and organisational skills
Strong leadership; people and communications skills
Possess strong analytical skills with a proven ability to persuade and influence senior decision-making.
