Description
An NHS organisation based in the South are looking for an interim Deputy Head of Commissioning focussing on Children, Mental Health, Learning Disabilities and Dementia. The position will be for an initial 5 months through to the end of the financial year.Day rate: Negotiable
The successful candidate will be supporting the Head of Commissioning in the management of staff, operational processes and the commissioning of relevant services. To take commissioning responsibility for specific areas in ensuring the services within the team's portfolio are effectively commissioned within the resources available, and that all national and local performance measures and targets are achieved.
Essential criteria:
- NHS commissioning experience
- Experience of Children's and Mental health commissioning
- Proven track record in the delivery of performance targets including financial balance, national and local targets
