Gas and Power Confirmations Coordinator - World Leading Oil & Gas Co.
World Leading Global Energy Trading Company has an exciting opportunity for a Gas and Power Confirmations Coordinator to join their friendly and dynamic London based team.
About the Role:
- To work closely with several different departments within the trading floor.
- Draft and ensure timely dispatch of standard Counterparty Confirmations.
- Receive and reconcile Counterparty Confirmations.
- Reconcile Broker Recaps against the system of record to ensure accuracy.
- Chase outstanding and overdue Recaps and Confirmations to ensure receipt within contractual deadlines.
- Handling any other ad hoc Confirmation requirements, requests and queries as required
About You:
- Previous working knowledge of gas/power/emissions/derivatives and Confirmations in a trading environment.
- Ability to absorb technical information quickly and apply the information effectively in practice.
- A good appreciation of the need for, and use of KPIs.
- High level of attention to accuracy and detail and timeliness of delivery.
- Experience of referring to a system for deal verification purposes.
- Ability to prioritise workload and deliver against tight deadlines.
- A proven team player.
