Role: Children's Continuing Healthcare Nurse AssessorDuration: 3 Months with the view to extend
Location: London
Rate: £220 - £280 a day dependent upon experience
My NHS client requires a Children's Continuing Healthcare Nurse Assessor for a short-term contract in London to start as soon as possible.
You will be required to assist the organisation with their Nurse Assessment Load.
The skills and experience required for this position are:
- Registered Children's Nurse with a minimum of 2 years post registration experience
- Experience of working outside of the acute sector
- Experience and understanding on the Continuing Healthcare Framework
- Extensive experience of working with Children, Physical Disabilities and Mental Health
- Experience of performing nurse assessments
- Experience of working with Multi-Disciplinary team.
You will be providing case management to patients who have been assessed to meet eligibility, review eligibility on a regular basis and ensure that the care continues to meet the needs ensuring the optimal use of NHS resources.
