Press Officer | 5 Months | London
The Client:
The client- UK's number 1 leading transport company. Are looking for a Press Officer to come on board and work on the cross rail projects.
Your responsibilities are:
- Work as part of the press team providing a high- quality service for Ministers, the Government and the Department and media.
- Work closely with relevant colleagues in the Communications Directorate
- Develop good working relationships with key media, national, regional, international and specialist - and ensure a professional service
- Provide first-class communications advice officials on announcements, launches, visits and speeches
- Proactively seek opportunities to promote messages to a wide range of media, including through the digital media channels
- Ensure the client is represented fairly in all media coverage and lead on evaluation and timely rebuttal as necessary
