Description
About the jobWe are looking for a front end developer who can take PSDs and turn them into pixel-perfect, responsive, well-coded HTML templates that we will in turn convert to WordPress themes. Note that as we are going to convert your HTML templates into WordPress themes for public release, this is not the same as just doing a PSD to HTML conversion for a website. You need to create the HTML templates from a dynamic point of view. For example, you need to think about things like options and variable content. For this reason, it would be to your advantage if you already have experience doing PSD to HTML conversions for theme shops (whether on ThemeForest or elsewhere). It goes without saying that your HTML, CSS and JavaScript (jQuery) must be of the highest standards. We are known for our clean and well-organised code; you must be capable of the same.
You will also be responsible for any front end work needed on athemes.com (re-designs etc).
This will initially be a part time position as and when we have work, but hopefully over time it will grow. We want you to become part of the team, and will include you as much as we can in what we do.
This is a remote position, meaning you can work from anywhere in the world.
