Description
SAP PPM (Project and Portfolio Management) Functional Analyst is required for an initial 6 month contract based in Dublin, Ireland.
The main responsibilities include:
- Provide end user support for the our client's SAP Project and Portfolio Management Systems PPM & XRPM systems.
- Complete knowledge transfer for respective application area to other members of support team.
- Apply structured project management techniques for projects including design, development, testing & release management.
- Working closely with customers to interpret business requirements & identify system improvements
- Managing change request (CR) scoping, estimation and design (ie preparing functional specification) through to implementation (completing system configuration, liaising closely with ABAP team during build phase) and preparing and managing all elements of testing (unit, system and integration)
- Perform Incident and problem resolution, maintaining the highest levels of customer satisfaction possible
Candidates wishing to be considered must be able to demonstrate at interview the have the following experience;
- Minimum of 4-5 years' experience in SAP PPM/XRPM functional areas & ERP Project Systems.
- Candidates must have hands on functional experience in SAP PPM and XRPM including business process definition, configuration/development, functional/integration/performance testing/regression testing etc.
- Possess strong communication skills for interaction with different stakeholders involved in a Project (ie in the business process definition stages, design, testing etc with technical and non-technical people). Excellent communication/interpersonal skills are mandatory
- Experience of migration from RPM 4.5 to PPM 6.0
- Excellent knowledge of integration with BW, HR & FI-CO.
- Strong documentation/writing skills. Ability to write clear and concise functional specifications & knowledge transfer documentation. Must display ability to create/maintain project documentation to allow smooth transition of Projects into Support organisation
- Fluency in the English language is a key requirement
