For our Industrial client in Paris we are looking for several DevOps Engineers coming from an operations or development background who thrives in Windows environments and is a firm believer in automation. This position is Full time starting ASAP.
The Company:
Our client is a well-established, global, listed Industrial based in Paris who are redesigning their development methodology and adopting a more DevOps style model.
The Challenge:
You will be responsible for helping to drive the DevOps agenda and also be hands-on with the more technical aspects of the job (focusing around the Windows stack).
- Design, develop, and maintain automated components to support the CI/CD systems.
- Integrate automated testing, security scanning, deployments, and reporting into our CI/CD pipelines.
- Promote DevOps principles and practices throughout the organization to improve engineering throughput and reliability metrics.
- Develop and administer various tools supporting build, test, and deployment automation.
- Build positive relationships with stakeholders throughout the organization to promote a cooperative work environment.
- Troubleshoot applications and find solutions to integration pain points.
- Document processes related to the automated build, test, and deployment systems.
- Empower feature delivery teams to iterate rapidly by providing self-service automation tools.
The right person for the role:
The ideal person will be a seasoned System Admin with good development knowledge and a firm understanding of automation tools and DevOps best practice. You will have a strong understanding of the software development life cycle.
