Prestigious Enterprise Company is currently seeking EMC Storage Engineer Consultant.
Candidate will assist with complex implementations across established data centers and develop strategy for new data centers and public cloud.
Qualifications
Successful leadership and management of a data center engineering team and enterprise storage Solutions Architect.
Storage Architect level experience with EMC Symmetrix VMAX storage is required.
Experience supporting mixed OS and virtual environment storage projects VMware, Windows, Linux, UNIX, etc.
A broad and diverse technology background is a must.
Experience with the following systems: SAN, EMC, HP, VMAX, VNX, VPLEX, Cisco Switches, NetApp, HDS, NAS, Symantec NetBackup.
Knowledge of Virtualization and how it interacts with the hardware.
Facilitate collaboration across the organization to direct and better utilize infrastructure tools.
Plan, develop and manage the infrastructure to enable strategic and effective use of tools.
Lead the evaluation/evolution of tools/technologies/programs with input from internal teams, external developers, partners and customers.
Establishing strategy and objectives and advocate solution and direction to stakeholders.
Excellent written and verbal communications skills are necessary.
Highly organized, structured, and process oriented.
Ability to work independently as well as with a team.
Flexibility to work in a 24/7 environment
Flexibility to travel or work extended hours
