Role description of the Business Project manager
For the revision, improvement and further implementation of a data privacy compliance framework within the client, we are looking for a senior business project manager to assist support the Global Privacy Officer and the team. The framework shall include the requirements under the new EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and translate these into effective data protection management, processes, tools and awareness of data privacy within the entire global organization. The position will be for 1 to 2 years, with immediate effect. The candidate that we are looking for has the below profile.
Responsibilities of the Business Project manager
Develop and execute the change management part of the GDPR programme.
Coordination and implementation of GDPR training programme for relevant stakeholders (eg local privacy officers).
Stakeholder management within the organization, both global as with local OpCos and Joint Ventures.
Programme/project progress reporting.
Skills Required of the Business Project manager
-Large scale complex change management programmes/projects
- Roll-out programmes/projects across multiple countries/OpCos/Joint Ventures.
- Legal & business integration projects
-Certified or experienced with PRINCE2 or similar project delivery methodologies.
-Relevant and recent experience in developing training and awareness campaigns.
- Knowledge of privacy laws, or eager to learn.
-Relevant and recent experience in process design and optimization.
- Relevant and recent experience in managing external vendors, resources and contracts.
- Relevant and recent experience leading projects in multiple geographic locations, time zones and cultures.
-Relevant and recent experience in execution of business change management as part of a project.
-Relevant and recent experience in smoothly transitioning project deliverables to the standing organisation(s).
- Proven ability to translate complex legal concepts to business language and vice versa.
- Fluent English
