Description
We are looking for an IT Support for Clients Sites based in Listowel for 2-3 months.
IT Support Engineer responds to internal customer service requests needing technical support for hardware/software issues.
This role involves the following:
- Providing technical support to camera devices running Win 7 OS
- Effective diagnosis & troubleshooting of Win 7/8/10
- Effective diagnosis & troubleshooting on hardware; desktops, laptops, local/network printers and applications
- Imaging of Win 7 devices and installation of same
- Network troubleshooting & diagnosis of net cards, net points & network.
- Installation & Configuration of hardware, OS & PC products supported applications
- Resolve customer issues using the tools and systems available and update call and user databases as required.
- Management of Citrix FOB, 3G device deployment and troubleshooting.
- Setup of iPad/iPhone/Blackberry/Smart phone USB as covered by IMAC's.
- Inventory management.
- Invoke escalation procedure both technical & non-technical in a prompt and timely manner.
- Daily backup checks and tape management
- Software deployment
- Citrix Terminal Services troubleshooting
- Adhere to policies and procedures within the group.
- Flexibility is needed to work between various sites for the client.
- Role will involve travel between sites and clean driving license is essential.
- Means of transport would be an advantage
Requirements:
- Good knowledge of hardware and software is essential
- Windows XP/7/8/10
- MS Office 2010/Office 365
- Networking technologies (WAN/LAN) & understanding of networking protocols would be an advantage
- Knowledge of service desk Call Logging Tools.
- Experience with encryption tools.
