Functional Oracle Analyst (HRMS AND PAYROLL)

We have an opportunity for an experienced Functional Oracle HRMS & Payroll Business Analyst to join our expanding Team. The Senior Business Analyst has a central role in project teams, bringing domain knowledge and analysis skills, to aid the successful definition and implementation of business change projects.

You will play a key role in the three primary areas.

  • Strategic Initiatives: takes the Business Analyst role on projects. Identifies and gathers requirements and identifies areas for process improvements
  • Business Enhancements: Works closely with operational teams, leading on functional enhancements and working collaboratively with third party development teams. Validates solution designs; reviews functional specifications: and performs system testing.
  • Support: Acts as an escalation point for operational teams and third party support analysts. Provides guidance for unresolved incidents.

In addition, you will be supporting with the development of a knowledge base of core domain level structures, value chains, processes and systems. Work collaboratively with other business analysts and contribute to building the capability of the Business Analyst team.

We are looking for an Expert with the following experience:

  • Client facing expertise with solid functional or technical Oracle HRMS & Payroll experience
  • Knowledge of HRMS& Payroll systems and processes in a similar organisation
  • Good understanding and experience of business analysis skills, techniques, and practices
  • Good understanding and experience of Financial business processing and accounting rules.
  • Awareness of business strategy formation, business capability assessment and value management
  • Experience in consultancy disciplines including business process analysis, requirements definition and vendor evaluations
  • Good understanding of core HR & Payroll business processes, a deep functional knowledge of Oracle E-business Suite modules and have first class stakeholder management skills. You will ideally have experience working with outsourced delivery partners and other 3rd party
  • suppliers of solutions.
  • You will be a proactive self-starter, with excellent communication and organisational skills
