About the job
We are looking to expand our services and have, through an existing client opportunity, taken on two projects that we feel Laravel would be a great fit.
One project will be transitioning an existing internal user dashboard system to Laravel while the other project would be creating a brand new system to allow users to finance products from a dealership (i.e. finance motorcycles or ATVs).
Strong familiarity with Laravel + PHP is a must. You must be able to demonstrate your experience and knowledge of the framework, ideally with previous projects and contributions.
Responsibilities
- Write, test, review and ship code
- Work directly with our project management to coordinate and achieve milestones
- Participate in client conference calls at certain points to either coordinate or demonstrate the product
About you
- Your looking to build a long term relationship outside of any short term project work.
- You can work independently and can manage your time, but not too independent to not ask for help or offer insight
- You have strong communication skills that allow both clients, end users and other developers to easily understand you
- You're an expert in PHP
- You're comfortable with front-end technologies like javascript, css, html5 (even if it isn't your primary focus or use it day-to-day)
- You have extensive experience with MySQL and can write your own SQL from scratch
- You can sign an NDA and Non-Compete to ensure client confidentiality
- You can legally work in Canada or the USA
