Description
Responsibilities:
Our client, a large media company in Midtown Atlanta, is looking for a Project Manager to lead the re-definition of one of their media networks to a multi-platform network. Even though this is with a large company, this group is run like a start-up and is not heavily process driven.
This job is an 18 month contract (could go perm), starting at 30 hours per week and ramping up to 40 hours per week.
Project Leadership
Lead program of work across several different functions - technology, content, product, and business units
Partner with centralized technology team
Lead all project communications - excellent communication needed
Identify workstream dependencies, risks and mitigation options
Escalation to business sponsor as needed
Documentation
Gather and organize existing documentation
Document and report on project status
Create project charter and identify key milestones
Coordination
Conduct internal status meetings
Conduct and document stakeholder interviews as needed
Other
Potential communication with media partner office counterparts
Assist with product definition as needed, possible Business Analyst skill set.
Experience with the Agile Methodology
