Description

The Role:

Our IT Support Function currently wish to recruit an Oracle Functional Lead -O2C. This role will report to the IT Application Development and Support Manager

The main duties and responsibilities of the role will include the following:

  • This position is a Functional Analyst in our Applications Team, working with the Business Team and the Financial Systems Team in the Order to Cash work stream. The work requires an understanding of current business processes and the expertise and ability to recommend well-reasoned ways of enhancing, rearchitecting and improving technical solutions to support business requirements.
  • Independently analyse requirements for the Oracle Supply Chain modules (eg Order Management, Advanced Pricing, Configurator, Quoting, Sales Contracts, iStore, Accounts Receivable, iReceivables, Advanced Collections, Enterprise Business Tax, Cash Management, eCommerce gateway)
  • Independently conduct Pilots and be responsible for FIT gap analysis.
  • Prepare design alternatives and design specification documents. Drive all meetings within their function and manage the analysis through design phases related to their respective modules.
  • Provide Management Reporting for progress and status for all Business related Work Products/Deliverables.
  • Work with the IT Service Desk and Operations, to resolve any incident assigned to support the FSS project including participating in DR testing, incident management, resolution, escalation, in a timely manner and within the ITIL Framework as required.
  • Responsible for software-specific design and realization, as well as testing, deployment and release management, or technical and functional application management of Oracle specific package based solutions. These roles also require functional and methodological capabilities in testing and training.
  • Develop and promote a progressive, professional and positive working environment within the applications team.
  • Work within the application team to ensure appropriate process are implemented, and updated if required.
  • Proactively participate in the Performance Management process to ensure delivery of own, and the wider team's objectives.

The Person:

The ideal candidate will possess the following qualification, skills, knowledge and attributes:

  • A relevant third level or similar qualification or technical experience in the relevant subject matter;
  • Knowledge of ITIL process and approach is desirable;
  • Detailed knowledge of the technical content required to complete the role;
  • Essential 5 years' experience in a similar Functional or Technical role;
  • Oracle experience including but not limited to Oracle Business Accelerator Method, Oracle AIM deliverables and Oracle R12 implementation with 3 or more of the following modules; Supply Chain modules - Order Management, Advanced Pricing, Configurator, Quoting, Sales Contracts, iStore, Accounts Receivable, iReceivables, Advanced Collections, Enterprise Business Tax, Cash Management;
  • Oracle eBS R12, Oracle eBS Technical/Functional Support;
  • An understanding of relevant application set-ups and experience in designing and implementing leading practices of relative business flows.
  • Proficient in MS Office suite and previous experience with MS SharePoint;
  • Team player with ability to work on their own initiative.
  • The ideal candidate must be able to independently manage simultaneous projects, communicate effectively, and have a customer-service oriented approach.
