SAP Application Expert For POS-IN required for a project with a retail company in Stockholm, Sweden.

Duration: 01-Jun--Nov-2017 with very likely extensions.

The Sales Merchandising team is searching for an Application Expert to POS IN.

The team's mission is to maximize Sales by making sure that the company has the right products, at the right place, at the right time to the right price. The area is responsible for delivering IT services and applications that supports our global Merchandising organization in their work with managing Allocation & Replenishment, Price & Promotion and Sales Analysis. The area is also responsible for IT services and applications that make sure that the sales data has the right quality and reach internal stakeholders at the right time.

The change program will result in new processes and ways of working for large parts of the goods flow (supply chain) as well as for finance and controlling. At the same time, a large number of existing IT-solutions will be replaced by standard platforms to ensure a global, flexible and user-friendly system environment. The new IT-solutions will be the foundation for a business platform enabling continued growth in a long-term perspective for "multi-channel" and "multi brand" with well synchronized and efficient processes.

They are looking for an Application Expert for POS-IN to the Functional Area Flow store. POS-IN team delivers sales data validation, aggregation and distribution in SAP POS-DM and SAP CAR POS-DTA.

Responsibilities:

The primary tasks for the senior Application Expert in POS-IN are:

- Design and specify GAPS from template
- Use own knowledge/experience and problem solving skills to creatively resolve complex issues and choose the best course of action
- Drive rollout tasks and meetings
- Drive solution Workshops and requirements with stakeholders
- Support and ensure solution delivery with the Functional Area Architect and Application Experts
- Ensure cross-functional interaction with other stakeholders
- Participate in the feasibility study work for new initiatives (prepare/review comprehensive solution and estimate)
- Involve and inform the Functional Area Architect and Functional Area Responsible on relevant issues
- Own and drive integration and formats to/from POS together with Functional Area Architect
- Test planning together with test-lead. Follow up and secure quality in tests performed in your area
- Conduct and participate in Knowledge Transfer to personnel for system related configuration etc
- Maintaining documentation such as Blueprints and Functional Specifications

Mandatory Skills

- Should have hands-on experience of working with complex XML based interfaces
- Should have a technical/developer background and be comfortable examining code/debugging applications
- Should have experience working with the Idocs, Interface between Legacy system and SAP
- Should be capable of designing high performance data models
- Some experience of database design/modelling/administration
- Capable of working with SAP Architectural design
- Capable of defining non-functional requirements and translating into a landscape design
- Experience from performance testing/tuning
- Delivering complex mapping and functional specifications
- Hands-on experience of SAP products

Qualifying skills:

- Working with critical, extremely high-volume applications
- Hands-on experience of POS-DM/POS-DTA in CAR
- Alternatively hands-on experience of SAP BW, SAP APO
- SAP Knowledge in general
- Involved in Migration of POS DM or End to End implementation.
- Retail experience
- Business process experience

- Ready to deal with a large volume of simultaneous requirements/projects

- Adoptable to the company's methods and tools - and working environment
- Excellent managing of deliverables ("to-do lists"), time management, communication (oral and written), presentation, and organizational skills

English is the only language required for this role.
