An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Dutch Speaking Desktop/Technical Support Engineer in Amsterdam.
We are looking for an experienced candidate who is available to start ASAP!
Knowledge, Skills and Experience
*IT deskside support experience essential
*Relevant college or university degree beneficial
*Customer service focused
*Understanding of network fundamentals beneficial
*Understanding of Microsoft Windows & MS Office beneficial
*Specialist knowledge in MAC OS environments essential
*Understanding of mobility environments (iOS, Android)
*Ability to work in process-oriented manner
*Understanding of IT Design systems beneficial (Vectorworks/Revit)
*Experience of systems implementation is a benefit
*Accustomed to working in a dynamic fast paced environment
*Overall strong IT skills and an affinity for IT
*Formal IT training qualifications beneficial
Summary of Key Responsibilities
*Provide dedicated hands on support to EMEA Design team to ensure smooth transition from Windows to Apple based environment.
*Act as an ambassador for EMEA IT by delivering world class IT support to EMEA Design team.
*Work Design team trouble tickets according to priority and see through to resolution using existing procedures to solve routine or standard problems. Communicate to users on ticket status as appropriate.
*Responds to ad-hoc Design team support needs and End User IT management requests as appropriate.
*Assist existing End User team in implementation of Apple transition project related tasks within Ter Haak and/or London office.
