We have been engaged by a well-established UK Financial Services organisation to lead & advise on a major remediation programme of work.
We are looking for a highly experienced qualified Accountants, who have extensive experience of remediation & specific case file reviews, ideally across multiple industries. They will have a detailed understanding of a remediation review process & an extensive track record of completing these.
Main Responsibilities
You will conduct case file reviews and have had significant experience gained in international accounting or auditing combined with extensive experience of conducting forensic investigations as well as preparing expert reports, worked on forensic accounting assignments and related financial investigation work.
Ideally completed enquiries into serious and complex fraud, company fraud and accounting and auditing irregularities worked extensively with regulatory authorities in the UK such as the Financial Conduct Authority, the Serious Fraud Office, the Insolvency Service and accountancy regulators.
You will have also probably been involved in high-profile banking and public interest enquiries and have in-depth knowledge and practical experience of a range of legislative and regulatory regimes and their processes and procedures.
The Ideal Candidate
Qualified Chartered Financial Accountant with experience of working at a recognised accountancy firm, in a Government department or as Principal Financial Investigator, or on an internal remediation programme in ideally a Financial Services organisation
Conducted remediation & case file reviews and have had significant experience gained in international accounting or auditing aligned to forensic investigations.
Detailed understanding of a remediation review process & an extensive track record of completing these. Be completely familiar with Legislative and Regulatory Regimes Investigation, Strategy and Case Management.
Preferably with a degree from a Red Brick University such as Manchester, Bristol, Leeds, Liverpool of Sheffield.
