Harvey Nash is seeking a Merchandising Associate to join an American multinational technology company famed for its leading search engine along with a number of other products on a 12 months contract in London (King's Cross station)!
As a Merchandising Associate you will research, create, edit and manage Apps content for Germany market. You should be able to understand what content is compelling for users and can create interesting collections of apps. You will also create store campaigns and work closely with other Merchandising country teams, as well as cross-functional teams. You should be also familiar with content publishing schedules and calendars, as well as tools to update the German store.
Main responsibilities:
* Research new and trending apps, as well as personally test these apps for quality
* Localize relevant global campaigns and help create local apps campaigns and content for your market
* Become an expert on multiple categories of apps
* Analyze user data to understand how the apps are received by users
* Write and/or edit copy for collections on the store
* Publish content and maintain country calendars
* Work collaboratively within a cross-functional and international team environment
Minimum Qualifications:
* BA/BS degree
* Strong communication skills and collaborative working approach
* Ability to write and edit copy
* Detail-oriented, with good project management and analytical skills
* Digitally-minded, comfortable using mobile devices
* Familiar with content management systems
* Previous experience in merchandising, digital, retail or content businesses
* Previous experience with Apps/Mobile
* Good written & verbal English language skills
* Near native level fluency German
* Strong knowledge of the German market
