Sitecore Developer () - 3-6 months - £ Competitive Daily Rate
Advantage Resourcing have a fantastic contract opportunity for an experienced Front End Sitecore Developer to work with our client, a major well-respected financial services organisation based in their Digital office in Bristol.
My client is an established Building Society who has an urgent requirement for a Front End Sitecore Developer.
The role holder will focus on making enhancements and improvements and provide development and testing capability for the client's .co.uk site - specifically Banking content. Although the client is looking for a Front End Developer, candidates who are 'Full Stack' are also welcomed to apply.
Daily activities:
*Work within the multi-disciplined agile team on creating new Front End online solutions and experiences;
*Provide Front End technical advice to help scope & shape the solution
*Complete technical assessments of the required developments with the aim of delivering to brand and user experience guidelines
*Support the implementation of all Front End changes you are responsible for
*Working with projects/programme teams and the different online teams as appropriate, on similar activities as above
*Working with other Agile Teams to help shape and improve the agile development process
*Working with the Web Analytics team on tagging
Skills and experience:
*Sitecore knowledge/experience is essential and in particular experience of webforms and implementation of MVC on Sitecore. This is due to the client running on Sitecore v7.1 so developers with only Sitecore v8 experience would not have the requisite knowledge/skills.
*Significant proven Front End web development experience
*A track record of delivering high quality, interactive and engaging digital solutions and experiences
*In-depth skills in core web technologies including HTML, CSS, classic ASP and JavaScript/jQuery
*Experience of .NET, XML, XSL and AJAX advantageous
