ServiceNow Developer
£550 - £600 per day
3-month-rolling contract

ServiceNow Developer required to join a dynamic Niche IT Consulting organisation to work on client site in London taking responsibility for leading the configuration, development and administration of the ServiceNow platform, providing advice and guidance on ServiceNow best practices.
Responsibilities:
- Design and develop solutions on the ServiceNow platform, including creation and modification of applications, forms, workflow, interfaces and any other customization required
- Assist in the implementation and customization of ServiceNow modules and features (eg, CMDB, Knowledge, Discovery, Orchestration)
- Execute and refine the software development life cycle of ServiceNow applications and modifications
- Develop and maintain integrations between ServiceNow and other information systems
- Build and execute test procedures and scripts, and participate in associated testing (verification and validation) activities
- Contribute to strategic and tactical planning activities regarding ServiceNow
- Troubleshoot ServiceNow problems, implementing bug fixes and performing root cause analysis
- Communicate with managers, end users, and process owners frequently to establish requirements and guide development
Qualifications:
- Bachelor Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems or equivalent field of study, or 6 years related IT experience
- Demonstrated range of experience developing for the ServiceNow platform
- Candidates should have experience with configuration changes and ServiceNow Scripting, including request items, workflows, business rules, client scripts, UI policies and actions, script includes, the Glide API, and Jelly.
- Experience in ServiceNow-related Web development languages and technologies (eg, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, XML, REST API creation and calling)
- Demonstrated experience with the software development life cycle
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Strong interpersonal, team, and customer service skills
- Current Secret clearance or the ability to obtain and maintain one
