Proteus Europe is searching for a Functional Analyst for one of our Banking clients based in Belgium. A background in banking is required for this role along with some understanding of Dutch.Our Client :-
Our Client is a Banking provider based in Brussels, Belgium. They work in the services side of banking and thousands of people and companies across Belgium rely on them each and every day.
Your New role :-
Our client is responsible for the sale, development and processing of banking products to support import and export businesses. The team ensures the daily management of the front end and back office applications and for the operational support of all Trade Finance entities in the Trade Finance Group.
The team work both on maintenance and on project assignments.
Job Description:
As an ICT functional analyst, you have a key role in the CareTeam: you work functional analyzes that meet the business requirements and fit into the clients architecture and standards.
In your analysis, you cover the entire end-to-end business process flow. You see the big picture, but these analyzes work in agile mode, for example by model storming. You document your functional design and discuss it with business colleagues.
You then transfer the design to the technical colleagues. You deliver functional test cases based on your analysis and your test thoroughly to ensure successful completion.
This function is also open to candidates who, in addition to the functional analysis, can also take the technical design themselves.
In that case, you will transfer the technical analysis to the developers and follow the development. You agree with thorough technical tests at all stages of the project lifecycle.
