Our client, a global leading consultancy company focusing on ICT services, IT Consulting, Technology Services and Outsourcing, is looking for a Senior Cloud Operations Expert to join their business in China.

Responsibilities:
- Develop, optimize the delivery strategies, processes and work instructions for the operation and maintenance on virtualization and cloud computing products (VMware, Xen, KVM, Openstack, Fusion Sphere etc.).
- Guide the global ITO projects to provide professional Virtualized/Cloud datacenter operations support for the backend cloud infrastructure & platform.
- Develop health checklist of virtualization or cloud computing systems for operational and maintenance, conduct risk assessment of the existing virtualization or cloud environment to identify the risks and issues, and provide optimized and enhanced solution recommendations and proposal.
- Assist 1st line projects to perform major incident troubleshooting, root cause analysis, and provide high quality solutions to technical issues; with adherence to standard operating procedures (SOP), as well as injecting methodologies in resolving incidents.
- Support for solution design, technical review and delivery of major projects on virtualization and cloud aspects, participate in technical transformation projects on virtualization or cloud migration, cloud evolution and cloud tools optimization.
- Provide technical advice, optimization options, etc. for delivery projects.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge base of virtualization and cloud operation cases and best practices, guide the 1st line projects to build up the skills accordingly.

Qualifications:
- Graduated from computer, communication and other related specialty.
- More than 8 years’ experience in IT industry, 5 years’ experience in system operation and maintenance, experience in operation and management of complex large IT systems; familiar with script development language (including not limited to Shell, Perl, etc.); or familiar with Java programming.
- Proficient in VMware vSphere, vCenter management suite, Site Recovery Manager, vCloud Suite and other products.
- Familiar with X86 architecture mainstream manufacturers, including but not limited to HP, IBM, DELL.
- Familiar with problem locating, responding, upgrading, reporting and summarizing work.
- Good team communication skills.
- Has the appropriate certificates, such as VMWare Certified Professional - Data Center Virtualization.
- Familiar with the cloud and virtualization technology architecture, OpenStack, Hadoop, Docker, KVM, XEN, VMware. Be familiar with main stream cloud platform(Ali, Azure, AWS) architecture and technical feature, deeply understanding IaaS/PaaS/SaaS platform architecture.
- Cloud operation experience in below companies are preferred: IBM, HP, Microsoft, Google, Amazon, large financial companies, Baidu, Tencent, Ali...
- Experienced in enterprise architecture design or cloud service integration will be priority.
- Master the traditional Infrastructure IT (including servers, storage, database, network, middleware) operation and maintenance technology, there is a wealth experience of Infrastructure IT actual operation and maintenance.
- Understanding IT security specification compliance requirements, such as ISO27001, PCI, SOX, etc.
- Be familiar with ITIL each process module, experienced in ITSM operation and maintenance tools selection, design, deployment.
- Can accept frequent global travel, Fluent in English.
